We are successful in meeting our client’s needs because of our extensive training, education, and professional and personal experiences which help clients to feel understood, cared for, safe, and at ease. Our team at LIFE has a great deal of experience working with trauma, family, discord, reunification, identity issues, sexual abuse, drug abuse, adjustment disorder, depression, anxiety, relationships, vocational goals, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and everyday stressors.

Tiffany Hosea
Ages: 8+
With nearly two decades as an educator, Tiffany has shaped the minds and social-emotional development of young people while also mentoring fellow educators. Her experience has strengthened her ability to actively listen, work with diverse populations, and foster accountability. Motivated by a deep commitment to holistic well-being, Tiffany became a counselor to address the increasing need for mental health support in Black and Brown communities. She utilizes a client-centered approach, integrating various therapeutic modalities to best serve each individual’s needs.

Ages: 12+
Billy is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and find their inner strength. His journey into mental health counseling stems from personal experiences and a deep appreciation for the power of therapy in fostering growth and healing. A Marquette University graduate with experience at the Multicultural Trauma and Addictions Treatment Center, Billy specializes in trauma-informed care, including TF-CBT, ACT, and DBT. He values flexibility, continuous learning, and fostering connections with diverse populations.

Ages: 13+
Sara is dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. A former high school special education teacher, she transitioned into clinical social work after gaining experience in crisis intervention with youth and adults. Sara integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing in her practice, with a passion for working with teens.

Ricardo Levy
Ages: 13+
Ricardo’s journey from Jamaica to the U.S. shaped his dedication to education, athletics, and mental health. A Concordia University graduate and former professional athlete, he has over a decade of experience in social services, including Wraparound, Project Ujima, and Aurora Psychiatric Hospital. Currently completing his LPC licensure, Ricardo specializes in integrating therapeutic modalities with sports performance, focusing on mental health in athletes. He has also published research on strategies for counselors working with elite athletes who have experienced trauma.

I am a compassionate and empathetic aspiring Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, dedicated to helping others grow through collaboration. With a strong foundation in counseling theories, psychopathology, and mental health diagnosis, I am developing skills in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and ACT. My experience includes observing and documenting client behaviors, reflective listening, and building rapport with diverse populations. I soon after enrolled in the Master's program for Professional Counseling at Concordia University. My professional counseling journey began with working at an AODA outpatient setting, to a MAT clinic, to working with adults and youth in the inner city, I have experience working with clients on coping with life changes, stressors and trauma. As a Parent Advocate for LIFE Wellness and Counseling Services, she connects families to resources. A former regional director of No Child Left Behind, Lucille values social-emotional learning, gospel music, painting, and helping others. She is a proud mother and great-grandmother.
